The Work of STEL72
Connect & Execute
I always ensure a client brief has been filled out or a meeting is held with the client before I commence any work. It is so easy to get carried away and see the project from one particular angle, but it’s always worth checking that this is not only the correct angle but also that it is in line with the clients objectives before proceeding to create anything.
Research is very important. Who are the target market? Who are the competitors? What is the industry like as a whole? The research and development is extraordinarily time consuming but extremely beneficial, there would be nothing worse than designing a new logo for a company only to discover it’s too similar to a competitor or creating a campaign and finding out at the last moment that the style doesn’t suit the market.
What are the messages that are to be omitted? Are you telling people that this product is cheap? Is it exclusive? Does it have excellent service? How does it connect with consumers? Can they relate to it? These are the messages that should be received by the viewer and the design should express/connect with them.

Read more“There are two things I said about Jerry when I recommended him to a close friend: 1) he is an amazing designer - you will love his work and 2) from a business standpoint, you couldn't find a better designer to work with. In terms of his design work, he hit the nail on the head and was able to translate our conceptual idea into the exact look and feel we were hoping for in creating our brand. But just as important, Jerry is a consummate professional. He is super responsive, flexible, always delivered as and when promised to and was overall just pleasant and easy to work with. I trusted recommending him to my friend completely and, based on her positive experience, can continue to do so.”
“I initially worked with Jerry on a marketing campaign where he handled the creative artwork, photography, and website design. He went above and beyond on the project doing any and all tasks asked of him. He had such exceptional work ethic, dedication to the project and above all skill, that since the project ended I've reached out to him to handle small projects for myself. I couldn't recommend anyone higher!”
